Hi Tom,

I've seen that site before. There are all kinds of horror stories pertaining to doing business via Paypal as well as more traditional merchant accounts.

All it seems one can do is do business with as much integrity as possible, play by the rules and communicate with your gateways.

Be proactive. Reaching out to your gateway, payment providers prior to events that you are aware may raise some flags is always a good idea. That said, we are all at their mercy to some degree.

Thanks for adding your input.

Regards,

Paypal is great for the consumer, but not so good for merchants; they can block and keep your funds for _any_ reason. See PayPalSucks.Com

Still, this is a clever thing. They're going to be hard to beat, now.

Thank you Brian.

I just used the plugin to make a purchase on Amazon.com... worked like a charm!

Once the plugin is installed you do need to go through a 1 minute, two-step setup process and you are all set.

I generated a multi-use card for Amazon that I can use over and over.

Great innovation.

I'm glad you explained this for us. I had installed the plugin but quickly uninstalled it when I felt it was too intrusive. The popup would activate on forms just like this one used to leave a comment on your blog. I got rid of it before I realized you could create a temporary card number. That will work perfect for purchases from sites we're not familiar with. I'll go back and take another look, thanks :)
